This is an 18+ event.  You are not required to shoot 18+ but some people do, so it is not a good idea to have people bring someone that isn't 18.
I have 45 acres of private forest with many different backdrops sitting in the middle of the Hocking hills and thousands of acres of beautiful natural beauty. The flowers and dogwoods should be in bloom then.
There is a $20 fee for photographers, models and MUA's are free. Lunch and drinks will be provided.
If you have flaked in the past you must put up a $40, non refundable deposit if you want to attend. If you have flaked twice, don't bother to sign up. WHEN YOU COMMIT AND DON'T SHOW UP, IT SCREWS EVERYTHING UP FOR EVERYONE. WE REALLY DON'T NEED THAT.

If you have never been here before, we have lots of very talented people show up. About half of the attendees are regulars and half are new. Meeting new people and networking is what it is all about.
It is a good chance for new models and photographers to build on their portfolios and meet new people to work with. The last 2 events we had photographers from Mich., Pa., Ky, and all 4 corners of Ohio.
Sharon and Jane will be making lunch again. There will be a cookout on Fri. night.
There are 3 cabins available for the weekend at $100 each. That is $50 less than normal. I prefer to rent them to people involved with the event. There are plenty of spaces available for tents and campers and electric hookups. There is no charge for camping. The cabins sleep 4. If you really want to come, we will find a place for you to sleep.
Cabins are first come, first served and require a $50 deposit to reserve them.

The event hours are from 9-6 but many people get together before and after and for those staying the whole weekend, there is shooting on Fri. and Sun.
We hope you will come, have a productive time, meet great people, relax, and have a good time.

After you sign up, put a schedule on here but preferably on your port page.  Example::

9-10 Cascading Falls
10-11 Open
11-12 Open
12-1  Lunch
etc. This way you can see when others have open slots and they can do the same with you. Don't hesitate to ask someone for a slot if you want to work with them and then edit your post by putting in their name when you fill a slot. If no one flakes , most people usually have a full schedule.

Count me in cabin included.  Always a great time.  For models that might attend, I prefer to fill up my schedule from either end towards the middle of the day.

I volunteer to be the contact person for anyone wishing to carpool from NW Ohio & SE Michigan.

The spring HH shoot is one of my favorite days of the year (the fall shoot is another     ).

If I'm back from vacation by then I'd like to attend.

We have 3 months. I put it up a little early because I had people asking about it.

Just a note to any models considering attending, don't read too much into the "18+ event".  I would estimate that, on average, slightly less than half of the models attending are open to posing nude.  You will be under no pressure to go beyond your personal limits.  I can vouch for the regular photographers and if any of the new photographers try to push you, just tell Jim & he'll give them a size 12 leather enema (a big boot up their butt).     seriously though, that won't be tolerated at this event.  We want the models to go home happy & ready to come back for the next one.

The event is listed as "18+" because there is enough nude photography going on that we can't have minors on the location.

I had a great time last fall, maybe I CAN stay longer ?

Being the "Mom" model, And a veteran to Jim's shoots, I can vouch for the "Fun and completely comfortable"!

I'm a non-nude, THANK GOODNESS, and so is Alii Nicole, my daughter, and we LOVE these shoots.

It's like one huge family: the models, hostesses (Jane and Sharon--the AMAZING CHEFS), the photographers, and the host (Jim).

I'm in. I may be bringing another model with me as well

As of right now, I wont be able to make it. May has always been a busy work month. But if things change I'll let you all know asap!

Right now, it looks like I still need a 2-3 and 3-4 time slot.  After that, I'm taking it easy the rest of the day.  If any photographers need someone to hold a reflector or anything between 4-6, let me know.  I'll be happy to assist anyone.

So far I am going to shoot with Guy in his group shoot from 1-2p. I am expecting, due July 5th so I will have a basketball belly.
