I am processing in a completely different way to how I am used to and would love to know if you think it suits the subject.

The skin on his body looks too smooth, and his lips look pretty red to me.  IMHO I don't think it suits the subject.

What is the new process you are doing?

Image needs color balancing and some fine grain looks very sterile to me.

Yes as mentioned before, color balance is mandatory on this image, there are many redish oversaturated spots. I like the highlights on the body, but on the face.

I'm not sure about the hair, it looks like you completly lost the information on that area.

I was waiting for someone to point out the DISTRACTING spot on the tub! That circular dirt spot completely ruined the entire image. Either you flawlessly repair the spot via healing or cloning, I am suggesting this image as no good.

If you must repair, I second the skintone corrections and some color grading to add in some mood and atmosphere.

I think it would look a lot better in black and white! There is too many shades of color in the skin, in my opinion. Try it in B&W. It looks great.

I think the color in this image is excellent however!
