Perceptions Edge ( https://www.modelmayhem.com/1276 ) will be helping with the contest. Beginning with the contest on 1/2/12, we will have a winner's gallery thread. It will be assumed that you grant permission to have your image (if a winner) posted in the winner's thread unless you advise otherwise. The winner's gallery is here: https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thread_id=811216 Today's (2/10/15) theme is "Love". Post your best image of a human model that portrays love. Here are the rules. Please read them before participating.
1. One entry per person per day.
2. One vote per person per day.
3. No bumping your entry.
4. No voting before 12:00 PM MM time (Pacific) unless page 2 has been reached.
5. No collages or multiple images.
*6. No editorial comments that accompany your entry.* This includes image titles. Credits are fine.
7. No vote stacking. DO NOT recruit votes!
8. Voting will end at 4:59 AM MM time (Pacific) the following morning.
9. "M" (18+) images must be linked and noted as per MM rules.
10. No voting for an image you participated in creating.
11. To vote, quote the entry you wish to vote for and type "Vote".
12. Images that are past winners of a daily theme are not eligible to be entered if that theme is repeated. This applies to images that have won on or after 1/2/12. MM Legal Disclaimer

* There has been an increasing amount of editorial comments lately. The idea of the contest is to portray the concept with an image and no words. It is fine, however, to credit those who worked on the image.
There have also been too many rule #9 violations lately. This could result in the thread being locked and is not fair to those who abide by the rules. Please abide by the MM rules for forum posting or more stringent action may be taken.

Thank you for this contest concept as I've been wanting to share this picture from only a few I was able to snap as the situation happened so quickly.... (sadly I just missed the beginning by mere moments) On this day I was at Montrose Beach doing my usual swimwear photos with a Chicago model. The model was actually facing this couple and I had my back to them with the sun behind me. All of the sudden she gasps in excitement and says for me to turn around quickly and what do I see??? ![https://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l540/davidshinobi1/Model%20Mayhem%20Contests/IMG_2223_zps47a9f48c.jpg]() Luckily I had my 70-200mm lens on this day as the couple was a good 100 yards away. Afterwards, we both went to congratulate them and found out they were both from the Ukraine on vacation in Chicago visiting his family.... turns out Chicago has a massive Ukrainian population. It must have been just one of those days because they didn't speak English but the model with me was Russian so she translated. Of course I showed them the few snaps I was able to get and of course I gave them the pictures. This brief synopsis is not meant to sway votes by any means what-so-ever but the photo is meaningless without an explanation since its the definition of LOVE.
