Hi everyone. I need a recommendation on a brand of body paint. I need to paint a model jet black from head to toe. I need the makeup to be more of a satin finish to catch the light. I'm envisioning something that's halfway between matte and shiny/glossy.

Can anyone recommend one? Thanks.

Wolfe FX black is my go-to. It's a water activated cake that is super pigmented and easy to apply. Be warned, it can stain skin. It dries with just a little semi-shine. (Please be sure your model doesn't have a gig for at least a couple of days.) Other options

Other favorites of mine are more matte: Ben Nye Magicolor, EBA airbrush VIBE (water based).

Many like Mehron Paradise water based cakes, but I expect them to again be more on the matte side.
