I have been told in the past from different sources that you can clean your brushes with the Sunlight pure soap bar, but I still wonder if it wouldnt be too ''harsh'' on the brushes?

I have different kind. I own a lot of Make Up For Ever natural ones but also synthetic and it would be sad to destroy all this beauty <3

Does it ring a bell to any of you?
Or maybe it's another brand?

It wouldn't be too harsh but bar soap will leave a film of fatty acids deposited on the bristles just as if you washed your own hair with it. (or like what collects on a bathtub)
I would suggest an antibacterial and skin safe detergent instead.

"Watson's process created a new soap, using glycerin and vegetable oils such as palm oil rather than tallow (animal fats).  William Lever and his brother James Darcy Lever invested in Watson's soap invention and its initial success came from offering bars of cut, wrapped, and branded soap"
