I think I will take some stuff off a shelf in my department.
leave it on the counter.
wait a few minutes.
move it around on the counter.
wait a few more minutes.
then put it back on the shelf above the counter.
then I'll take a long lunch, post here more and go home early.

do you think that's good enough to trick the other people around me into thinking I'm busy doing stuff?

take into consideration that they are working hard, focused on their actual work.

maybe I'll leave some emails open on my computer too, or a spreadsheet that I don't know how to use.

I'm such a good employee.

I would also reply to two or three emails with "I'm quite busy now, I'll get back to you on this tomorrow"

I only got one email all day.
it was from a coworker asking me to call a client back regarding specific details only I can answer.

that client is going to want me to do a job for them.
it sounds like a lot of work.
calling to get a job and then doing that job.
its like two things!

usually other staff schedules this shit for me.

also theres only two light beers in the fridge on the first floor. its pathetic. who drinks that crap? wheres all the good stuff? i bet theres some real booze upstairs, but then I got to ride an elevator to get it.

what kind of work environment is this!? there's no decent alcohol for the employees.  I shoulda picked something up to drink when I went out for lunch.

how do they expect me to pretend to work if I'm sober!

so I'm sitting at my desk playing on MM when I get a text from the boss upstairs.
he said to ignore the email my coworker sent about contacting the client.
he said he'd handle it for me.
thank god.

perfect timing cause I just got a message on here from a gorgeous model, we exchanged numbers and now we're texting about a shoot.

is it time to go home yet?
