Change finds me. No matter how hard I try to get rid of it. I have a washer/dryer, tolls use EZ pass, and parking meters take credit cards. How do you get rid of quarters these days?

I use them for...tolls, coffee and parking meters.

I've only ever seen card-accepting parking meters in a few places. The large, public city lots have them - but not so much if you just want to park on the street for 15 minutes while you run to the bank. Those kind of meters still take quarters.

Also, I refuse to go to EZ Pass. Around here, everyone went to EZ Pass and now those lanes move slower than the cash toll ones. With everyone using EZ now, I get through the congestion quicker just handing a booth operator a handful of change.

CoinStar.  If you exchange coins for Amazon credits there's no fee.

its like that here too!
Fastrak lanes were all backed up going across the Bay Bridge yesterday.
I just went down the carpool lane a ways and then got over into a Cash/Fastrak lane and only took 2 minutes to get thru.
I just nodded at the Toll Booth Guy as my Fastrak went "beeeeep" and kept on cruising.
Its not always like that tho.
