I rarely block someone
I think in the 10 years I've been on MM, I've blocked maybe 5 people. Today someone contacted me in a need to make disparaging remarks about race. I happily blocked this person. Jul 20 16 03:08 pm Link I had only blocked about one person in 10 years until recently (my first account was opened in 2005). I have blocked about 30 people in the last few months. Most of them were foreign retouchers. Someone in the forums suggested blocking them to prevent multiple friend requests. After turning down their friend requests, the requests would often show up again and again weeks later. About a quarter of those recently blocked, were blocked after I observed them posting like 5 year olds, attacking OPs and others in in the forums, calling people names and being more than simply rude. I don't expect them to try to contact me or send me a friend request. They will never know I blocked them. It has become my way of keeping track of people without manners.
