RIP Harry, it was a casting home run for his part in Repo Man

He was singing at a bar on Vine near Hollywood some 25 years ago and between sets he'd sit around and my wife and I got to chat with him a bit.

Loved him in "The Green Mile"

It was great that David Lynch expanded Stanton's Carl Rodd character for the new season of Twin Peaks. Originally just a cranky minor character in the Fire Walk With Me prequel film, Carl turned out to be one of the good guys, and Stanton even got to play his guitar and sing in character. Nice.

RIP Harry... we'll miss you.
