OK, digital is far from dead but I am glad to see that there is a resurgance in film photography. I recently started shooting with a Soviet made Kiev 88 medium format camera. With any piece of gear there will be a learning curve but I am really happy with this image I shot recently in Cumberland, Maryland. I am hoping to find models to shoot in the Mid Atlantic area to shoot some more B&W images with. Hopefully the link below will work. If not look for Mike Ratel on flickr or Instagram.

Welcome to medium format. We've got a few more years until digital can really challenge us; longer, if we're doing fancy developing. That said... While I'll give up my 4x5 the moment I can afford a digital equivalent, you'll have to pry my 6x6 from my cold, dead hands.
