Myself and Torné Velk (Featured photographer for Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan) will be hosting a 2 day fashion photography workshop and are now actively booking seats!
Dates: September 27th & 28th from 9-3 in Miami, FL

Day 1 will immerse you in a professional photoshoot production for an editorial. We will feature a top agency model, hair styling, makeup artistry, wardrobe styling, and photography; exploring each of our creative backgrounds and accomplishments.
We will cover the components of what makes a successful photoshoot with a creative team and the different moving parts of a professional production, as well as obtaining a similar result on your own without a full team.
We will go over a classic, easy makeup and hair application that will allow you to build your portfolio without a hair or makeup artist always present.
We will break down a photoshoot creative vision, planning, and how to maintain this vision throughout the photoshoot day. How to submit your work to top magazines, increasing your chances of being discovered in the industry, and will take you through a real-life production from start to finish.

Day 2 will include a lesson on light modifiers, artificial lighting vs. natural lighting, and lighting techniques that work for everyone: beginning to advanced photographers alike without a large budget. We will go over posing your model for full body, portrait and beauty photography and how to have creative direction in a photoshoot. We will touch on marketing, pricing your work and the business side of photography.
Day 2 will also feature a professional retouching seminar: going over different techniques to achieve a flawless end image.

We will maintain small class sizes so that this can be an interactive workshop where we can answer any questions you have!.
