hey,

i have a photo of a building, and a few dimensions of ground level elements (doors, windows, etc).

i want to take the photo and the measurements i have and make the editable image scale to that. i know this is probably more of an illustrator thing (and feel free how to chime in on that program as well).

i'm trying to do some editing work that requires that i do this. it's probably ai/ps 101, but i'm not aware.

thanks

I think I know what you are asking

go to the ruler tool (it's nested under the eyedropper)
click and drag the door (shift key keeps it straight) write measurement down
do the same with the with the building
divide one measurement into the other, that will be the % to transform

I usually turn the object that will be transformed into a smart object, in case it
needs to be changed again
