I like the color better in this image than the second, but hand position is distorting shape of suit, wish white of eyes was not blasting camera [Why is he looking so hard to his right side give me a reason?]

This one seems off color [The white banner background looks anything but white], right side of coat looks much better with out him pulling on it.
For me too much space above his head, pose is a bit better, if he were looking at his watch rather than jamming his hand in his pocket.

Of the two I would go with 2, but think you could make a stronger statement by fine tuning.

I wish you well

I don't like #2 (there is a kind of surrealistic appeal - the windows from the building above his head do suggest data lines flowing from his head, which is kinda cool)

in #1, I think the blue flag and yellow traffic sign pull too much attention from the model.

I like both of them, but the crops are a little too wide.  In the first image, I'd crop off the bright white sky on the left side of the image and crop to the edge of the building.  That isolates the model and make the color of the suit really stand out.  The stuff on the left side of the frame is distracting and competes for the viewer's attention.

Same goes for the second image, except crop off the top to about the top of the burgundy banner above his head.

They're good fashion shots; just need to make the fashion the primary focus instead of the background.

I like the 1 better as there is not much of a busy background. 2  Also has like a skylight filter cast into it. Don't know if its for artistic purpose. The model is ok. Its just the other factors. I learned a long time ago that when possible keep the picture as simple as you can. The simpler the better. I know there are situations that are out of control but those are the photographs I like the most where portraits are concern.

2 would be improved by matching the color balance of the foreground and background and cropping slightly above the top of the red flag.

#1 but I would crop it tighter. There is too much of the building on the right side of the picture.

If the intent is to produce an ad image (I'm assuming for the suit), #2 shows it off better, the hang of the jacket is much cleaner  .  .  .  the air at the top of the image leaves room for copy, logos and such as well  .  .  .  I'm pretty sure I couldn't get the jacket buttoned even if I could get it on, may not be the right cut for my body shape  .  .  .  wink
