As a way to help the traveling models, know where work may be available, I think the photographers should post here information concerning local conditions in their area.  I will start.

SHAWNEE COUNTY, KANSAS (Includes the City of Topeka)
All photography studios are closed, except in special circumstances, until June 1st.

My studio is open . . . . but only for doing Photoshop of older images that already exist.

At my age, the last thing I want coming into my studio is a young model carrying a virus, but showing no symptoms !

It's not the location of a studio that's open that really matters. It's where the people who enter it have been and whom they've come into contact with that matters. I would ask a few questions before agreeing to work with anyone but I think it can be done safely if we use good common sense, take safety measures, and keep some distance. I might just shoot with the 200mm f/2.0 more.

When I started this thread it was my intent to have a place where traveling models could find out where studios are open and possible shoots may be available.  I fully agree that before any model or photographer book a shoot that they use caution and check things out to be sure that they are not getting into a situation that could cause anyone to get sick.  So given the current circumstances, I do not think that there is anything wrong with models and photographers, asking each other questions about the other's health and the health of those they have been around before they agree to a shoot, even though under normal circumstances such questions would be considered intrusive and out of bounds.
As to my own studio located in Shawnee County, Kansas I contacted the county health department today and was told that I can reopen my studio after May 18th as long as I do not allow more than six persons into the studio at a time.

What are the additional requirements to operate?  Masks?   Staying the considered 'safe' distance of 6' apart?

It's ok to advertise You're open, but can a business function with stipulations set in place.

With the local restrictions I can operate on a limited basis.  The six person limit is the result of the size and configuration of my studio.  The other requirements to open are pretty standard.  The studio needs to be cleaned between customers and models.  People should try to stay six feet apart except for necessary close contact for things such as the signing of documents and the making and accepting of payments.  I am not providing a hair and makeup person at this time.  A person coming for photographs will have to do their own.  Persons directly involved in the creation of the photographs do not have to wear a mask but witnesses and escorts are strongly encouraged to do so.  I will not be taking photographs with lenses that require me to be closer that eight feet to the person being photographed.

Local photography studios in Shawnee County, Kansas that comply with the new restrictions can reopen after May 18th.  Local officials changed the County rules during the 13 days between my first and second posts in this thread.

There was almost 2 weeks in between posts.  Obviously things changed since the first post.  I know our restrictions and dates have fluctuated weekly.  (You get "not until July", then "we've added more business able to open this week"....)  It gets reassessed as the test numbers come back.  Our province basically told business to "be ready" with plans on proper procedures for when they are given the go ahead.  Obviously some (sports venues and such) wont be for quite a while, but even then there will most likely be measures needed to open.

Status for Ontario Canada:
No shooting yet. (As of May 19th, although there may be changes today.  Changes come first day of work week and yesterday was holiday)
You can go to studio to edit and do pre production work (arrange sets / props etc..) only assuming no gathering at the office.

Meanwhile, I read that OnlyFans is surging in popularity amid the virus.

If you were not being sarcastic (which I doubt) ....

You are welcome.  But the status is for Ontario.  Each province is opening up at different speeds, similar to how each State is opening up right now.  Some are much quicker to open than others.

If you were being sarcastic... (seems more likely)

He specifically asked people from different places to post what is open and closed.  (Sort of the whole point of this thread) This is not just a USA only site.  I gave him the current status in my Province.  If you just want USA answers, just skip over it.  Others may be interested.

As for explaining his two different statuses in his area, (replying to your "which one"),  unless in the USA, once a regulation is put in place, it NEVER changes, then my answer still applies. Sorry if you felt offended that I pointed that out to you.  Was not my intention.  Just figured you hadn't seen how far apart in time his posts were.

Either way... hope you have a nice weekend!  Although photo-shoots  are still out of the question here, they have opened up the parks / rivers / lakes for kayaking so with this weather I'm finally planning on getting out of the house for more than groceries.
