My badges are organized helter skelter on my profile page. I've examined the data and cannot find anything different from badge to badge, but they seem to not line up by column and line. I duplicated my badges several times, and they all remained in orderly row/columns. I suspect you have some special character amongst your tag code. putting the url tags together (no space, no line break) might help... or make a real mess of things.
