A sad day, in a year that has already been tough. Setting aside the news
for a half hour everyday was a break I really needed.

RIP Alex

Alex handled his illness with grace and dignity.  I never heard him curse a single time, either on the air or when being quoted off air.  I have no idea what his political leanings were.  More television hosts/celebrities should mimic his example.

Truly a gentleman, I never heard of anyone that didn't like him.  He will be sadly missed, a tradition in the TV realm.

I actually named my son after Alex Trebek. I really admired him.

This was a reminder of the passage of time. I still remember being in Jr High and watching the Jeopardy tv program at night. It was the very beginnings. An amazing long career. I knew of the news in 2019 it was a dire diagnosis. I was surprise he made it to now.. At the place I work at a manager died in just a couple of months from a similar diagnosis. Sad and scary to think. Its good to make the best of times. Especially with the family. RIP.

My only real "must see" TV  .  .  .  I'm assuming Ken Jennings will try and fill Alex's shoes, a very large task indeed  .  .  .
