Hi all. So I went to Dominican Republic to deal with a family emergency. While there, my nanny's daughter wanted pictures and I was like ok sure. So we took pictures real quick, when there was time, and here's the result. Since I haven't photographed a human in awhile I just want feedback and I'm also curious if you all have a fave or not. Thanks in advance!

Both the model and the images are all beautiful. Nice work. I might would try to darken the highlights of the backgrounds a bit and I might would square crop number two if anything at all. But really lovely work.

Looks like a fun shoot.  Lovely model and nice casual poses.  I like #3 and #5 best.  Never know if its my screen or compression going on, but looks like maybe her eyes could use some sharpening.

Thank you! And I agree with everything. I tried to take down the highlights/whites as much as possible. It was like 2pm when I shot the beach ones and I didn't have a flash with me. Next time hopefully.

Oh no you are VERY correct lol. I for some reason have not been sharpening eyes lately. I bet it's more noticable in number 3 because I shot that one with the nifty 50 (RF version) and compared to the 85 I was using sharpness is a bit of a joke. I should get back into the habit of sharpening eyes a bit. Good eye!

4 & 5 were the standouts for me Mr. Y, your model seems more relaxed and the brighter colours really make her POP  .  .  .  nicely done!  You still have a nanny  .  .  .  wish I still did  .  .  .  wink

Ha! Well she was my nanny when I was a child living with my dad. She is now looking after my dad, not me, but when I'm around her she immediately starts trying to feed me lol. She really is more like a family member. Long a** story, but anyway, thanks! Glad you like them!
