About Me

I grew up traveling abroad (US-Asia-Canada) and feel very connected to a variety of different cultures yet there is no certain place I can really feel at home. I know I have benefited a great deal from my travels for they have given me insight into a whole new way to perceive the world. In my eyes I see a world filled with people who embody the potential to be great, acceptance and diversity. I feel very out of place in the average american society as I truly don't understand why people willingly choose to ignore all evidence of the truth and instead converge into a "society of stupid" for lack of better words anyways.

I am a very friendly and outgoing person. I find myself very willing to take apart in shoot that I had initially reverted to do if I am able to build a connection with those I am going to be collaborating with. I love sharing stories and learning about others and find that key to having success at any shoot I take on. Photographers in the past have told me that I am unlike any other models they work with because I come to shoots with goals in mind for the concepts I would like us to achieve.

I always have a positive outlook about life and the life long journey of education. My travels of South East Asia have deeply impacted the way I perceive society in general. With nothing but my time and friendly persona I could put a smile on the face of someone who had nothing, my views on life drastically changed. I believe that the purpose of life lies within the connections which we create everyday. Whether those connections are created through photography, modeling, or volunteering at a soup kitchen, human relationships are necessary for humanity to live and thrive.

One value that I really advocate for in my modeling is diversity. To me personally the word diversity can't be defined because that's already setting restrictions and limitations. Diversity is a mindset, a personal reflection on your own values and an expression of what you yourself find worthy of acceptance. Of course not everyone is accepting and understanding of differences which is unfortunate because when you travel the world like I did as I grew up travelling abroad. If you are open and accepting to everyone you encounter, you'll find your outlook in life is rarely negative and through this limitless acceptance of others I personally find that you begin to realize how truly unique you are as an individual.

I consider myself a unique individual to work with, not only because of my upbringing but also because of the individual and personal challenges I've faced throughout my life.

Please don't ask me to do a shoot with you if you are just going instruct me physically to do certain poses. I would like to hear your concept for the shoot and then be able to talk with you to further via phone call or conference to further build rapport with the individuals I will be working with. I am not one to stop replying or just disappear when I have given my word to work with you however I will references or other encouragement to further back my decisions to follow through with the shoot. I am quite interested with the ideas of nature and culture. I prefer to be photographed in scenes where an emotion or idea of unity is being conveyed rather than; here is a beautiful model and here is a beautiful waterfall, they are both beautiful but they are opponents more in this shot rather than teammates working together. And in reality nothing about humanity is natural and this can be showcased especially in the world of modeling. However the opportunity collaborate with the right individuals in the proper setting is the only way professional models can deter this stereotype. This is what I am looking for.

Mental illness and anxiety are a big part of my modeling platform. In all my pictures I am wearing a Monofilement top, Lace front wig called Zara by Jon Renau. I lost all my hair when I was 16, due to extreme bullying and stress. I have been suffering from anxiety and Trichotillomania ever since then. As I neared my 20s I became aware that in order to start overcoming the mental challenges that you feel hinder you, you first need to realize; do you want to stop or does someone else want you to stop. Then you have to realize everyone else's opinions is just that of their own and it is up to you to determine how or even if their thoughts and words can have an effect on the overall outlook of yourself. I have gained superior confidence and overall happiness through my experience modeling and through fitness. I am active in a handful of online communities that help young girls with severe anxiety and depression. I strive to empower young girls with similar issues that I had that the only way to overcome trich is to do things that make you feel beautiful or feel happy with yourself. People have suggested to me in the past that I model without my wig on and perhaps in the future that could be a possibility but having hair makes me feel beautiful and therefore happy with myself - which is why I choose to model in my wig.

I would love to hear from anyone that reads my lengthy bio. Even if we don't end up working together, I would love to hear your feedback on certain concepts you could see me undertaking to gain more experience in the modeling and social media marketing world.
