Hello, im itty, WeLoMe t0 my WoNderLanD

I am a free-lance makeup artist operating mainly in the milwaukee metro area. I am a graduate of the Esthetics program at The Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness in Milwaukee and currently hold an esthetics license in the state of Wisconsin.

I believe that makeup artistry is no different then traditional painting or drawing, it just happens to be on a live canvas. I have been creating my own unique living works of art for about seven years and I have been fortunate enough to have my crazy little hands in just about everything, including:

-every-day makeup
-theater
-runway
-weddings
-high fashion editorials
-themed independent shoots
-my personal favorite, special effects

Special effects makeup is my passion. I am no stranger to irregular media such as liquid latex, spirit gum, or scar wax. I will always jump at the chance to create a zombie or an alien or any other fantasy creature you can think of. I am a very detail orientated perfectionist. I love to recreate movie, television, cartoon, or story book characters; however, dont expect to leave my chair unless the recreation looks absolutely flawless and realistic. I will always attempt as many elements of realism in my special effects work as humanly possible.

Although I enjoy and implement traditional methods and applications into my work, I am always looking for something new and exciting to test my skills. If its not difficult then its boring. I welcome any challenge or technically advanced project that comes my way. If you have an idea that seems impractical or unworkable, I'll find a way to make it happen. I am constantly seeking out new projects to express my child-like creativity and my endless love for shapes and colors. After all, behind the loud, crazy, obnoxious attitude, I am a four-year-old at heart.

I will do TFCD or TFP shoots depending on the project. If you have an idea I just cant pass up, or Im feeling particularly generous, Im usually willing to work something out. Im looking to expand my portfolio as much as possible so any chance to accomplish that is alright by me. I greatly enjoy artistic collaboration and consider myself privileged to have melted minds with so many brilliant and beautiful photographers, models, designers, and stylists and I look forward to whatever comes next...

Currently I am looking at adding the title of Body Painter to my skill list, just before interpretive dancer and right after master of the universe.
