About Me

It started out with the cover a National Geographic, "Afghan Girl" on the cover...At the tender age of 8 years old, I set out to sell Olympic Sales Club stationary to get my first camera, a 110. My mother wasn't exactly supportive of my wanting to pursue this. Over the years, school, sports, drama, and youth group took up my time, and I knew better than to mention photography to my mother.

Fast Forward to May 2010- Epiphany! I want to spend my life photographing the world and the people in it. I want to show the world what really goes on, I want to show the world how to find beauty in everything...I enrolled into school and got my first DSLR and so it begins...at the age of 35 I went back to school, wanting to chase my childhood dream.

I am currently pursuing my BFA in Photography (part-time, have you seen the tuition prices there?!) through AAU.

Due to a reality check, I will need to switch my focus from documentary photography more towards the fashion/commercial photography area. (At least I can still keep my fine art focus.) This is where you all come in. :) Help me grow! :)

As noted, I am a student, which means I am broke. If you don't mind TFCD or TFP, please contact me. I have tons of ideas.
