About Me

Capturing life since 1997, my passion has always been shooting where I shouldn't... or where I'm not expected to. I thrive in the raucous settings of festivals and events, while feeling absolutely at home in settings that seem more like "just life". Never intentionally looking for the "moment" I allow myself to just be there... if it happens, I'll do my best to immortalize it, but if i miss it, then it gets filed under "remember when...". I do also shoot with models, either on site or in a studio. However, even my approach with subjects that are living tend to operate differently than I suspect it would with other photographers. I typically pick people I know, when I want to shoot. Having that connection and being able to be candid in our interactions makes a lovely image seem a bit more personal.
