I began my career in makeup at the age of 18 when I was hired as Christmas help at MAC Cosmetics. I have always been a creative and artistic person, yet this position allowed me the opportunity to express that creativity with a different medium. I enjoyed learning new techniques, tricks and the challenges the job threw me.
While I was completing my undergraduate and teaching degrees, I worked as a MAC artist while also running my own freelance business. In 2006 I began providing my services as a freelance artist to brides. Although I focused on glamour and bridal makeup, I enjoyed the challenge of fashion/runway makeup as well.
I am primarily based out of London Ontario, however, I moved to London England for some time and offered my services there while working as a teacher. In addition, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Rome as a personal makeup artist for a wedding.
In the end, I enjoy what I can create with makeup and brushes. I use the products as my medium to create whatever artistic imspiration comes to me.
