My name is Mathias Lönnström, I was born in 1986 and my interest for photography was born in 2001. A couple of years later I initiated my studies in photography, cinematography and editing. The studies mostly concentrated on cinematography which was a good way to learn about light and on my spare time I taught myself photography in the school's studio and in the field.

In spring 2007 I bought my first digital SLR camera. This was one of those days I don't think I'll ever forget. That camera got to be in busy use, in for example steel factories, TV studios, weddings, survival games and in a helicopter above the city of New York, before being upgraded to a newer model.

Most of all I like to photograph people and I like combining photography with retouching software to create exactly what I want and to give the viewers that little extra they deserve.

Through my company, Grandita Ab, I make videos for artists, companies and other association. Smaller projects I take care of myself, but for larger ones I handpick people from my professional network best suited to work with me on the project.

I have no prejudice towards different assignments and in the future I hope to get to photograph more portraits, fashion and action filled pictures as well as make documentaries, short films and above all commercials.
