With over 44 years of professional bodypainting expertise (with a background in theatrical makeup for stage, film, and opera, as well as professional architectural & landscape design), Mitchell Poulouin (Owner & Key Artist)  has developed SYBARITES (an ensemble of top bodypainting artists, assistants and models, working as entertainers all over the country and the Caribbean, presenting our extraordinary bodyart) to cater to your special events requirements.  Our range of services covers the full spectrum of specific needs of our clientele: we can staff up with as many as (8) artists to satisfy the needs of ANY special event, or simply provide our Key Artist for your personalized needs.
     Over the years, our clientèle have ranged from: Club Tao (Las Vegas) and the Trump Taj Mahal & Showboat Casinos (Atlantic City); to the infamous Hedonism II resort (Jamaica) for a two-year residency, which involved working with the PLAYBOY Channel, The Jerry Springer Show, and MTV (at HedonismII); to the Fiftieth Anniversary of Woodstock (2019), to numerous galas including the Grand Gala 2002-2009 (Grand Opera House benefit/Wilmington, DE); to CATS National Tour (the Broadway musical) three different production companies; to Philadelphia nightclubs; to G-String Divas (HBO series); to the inauguration Caribbean tour onboard of THE BLISS CRUISE in 2015: to numerous music & renaissance festivals throughout the country . . . as well as the most outrageous private parties you could ever imagine!
     Mitchell also provides his creative and incredibly detailed artistry for select art directors, photographers and models, for special assignments worldwide. The SYBARITES have only used theatrical, water-based, hypoallergenic makeup...and NEVER paint, unless the client or assignment specifically requires alternative materials. For the WOODSTOCK Tour, he will be including for the first time...Pro-Aiir silicone-based makeup for airbrushing & brushpainting our canvases with makeup that does NOT sweat or wash off with soap & water, but with alcohol & Handi-Wipes. He will also be providing traditional Mehndi (henna) bodyart, which stays on for a week or two, as well as Liquid Latex that does NOT wash off, but peels off.
        The SYBARITES use the phrase "bodypainting" to include the common "face painting" applications, but also might include painting on torsos, backs, arms, legs, collarbone areas, pregnant tummies, and bald heads. .all over our Canvases!!!!!!! Professionally speaking...we are NOT shy artists.
     Have paintbrush (and airbrush, liquid latex, and mehndi) will travel...anywhere.
