I have been painting since I was eleven and it is my greatest passion. I am a traditional realist however I strive to continually expand my learning and interests about life as well as art. I have great appreciation for photographers, models, musicians, writers, poets and most creative types. I put them in a special category: They are the individuals who enhance our existence. They are the individuals who use their creativity to take us out of our everyday experience. It can happen in a gallery, a museum, a concert hall or anywhere. An elevation takes place. Painting has always affected me in such a way.
