About MeI am a photographer of fine art nudes and a filmmaker. ![]() For me, the patterns and calls toward art are sometimes evident, other times hidden. They are light and beauty, some are love. Some are sensual. A few are strange. Some are huge, others are small. Some are story, some are here, the best are alive. They are all intertwined, and sometimes there is no pattern at all. ![]() If you would like to discuss a project, model for me, or just share your comments, you can do so by messaging me here on Model Mayhem, or by emailing [email protected]. My current plans for projects include additional interior/architectural photographs with the nude, nude with the landscape, and possibly some studio work. I work almost exclusively with natural light. Thanks for looking. Jody Schiesser Credit Notes
In 2007 with my friends Nathaniel Nauert and Eric Nauert, I produced the award-winning short film THE STREET CLEANER (http://www.TheStreetCleanerMovie.com).
In April and May 2006, the Moon River Brewing Company in Savannah, Georgia showed 16 of my artistic nude photographs mounted on oak and coated with a glass-like polymer finish. Several of the photographs were created in the abandoned upper floors of Moon River, a historic building that became Savannah's first hotel (City Hotel) when built in 1821. The bottom floor is now used as a microbrewery and restaurant, while the upper floors are home to extraordinary colored layers of crumbling architecture, and like most old places in Savannah, rumors of ghosts. My photography has been published in The South Magazine, Paramour, The Sensuous Line, Savannah Morning News, Connect Savannah, The Chronicle, and various web publications. I will also have work in the forthcoming book, Wicked Savannah by Miriam Center. My still photography has helped promote a number of film and television projects, including TRUMPET MY RETURN, THE STREET CLEANER, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and PHANTOMS OF HISTORY.
