My name is Nikki Simpson and I a working makeup and special effects artist here in Vancouver.I graduated from the Vancouver Film School Makeup Design for Film and Television program and received the Achievement Award which is given to one graduate of each graduating class.
I work primarily in film and television doing on-set makeup as well as some fabrication in shop. I am looking to find some side work with local photographers and models for some fun shoots! I am comfortable executing any style and tend to lean towards the dark side. I love gore, horror and anything creepy but also love bright, beautiful makeups. I would also love to get involved with the music scene doing promotional shoots and music videos.
I am able to offer prosthetic makeup and full body makeups and would love to come up with some interesting concepts.
I look forward to meeting lots of new people and getting the chance to work creatively with them!
I do paid work only but I am willing to do certain shoots for free if they offer some really interesting portfolio work!
