About Me

I am a professional photographer that has shot lots of fashion and catalogues in the past,  I am now mainly interested in shooting artistic nudes now for my site Nude-Muse Magazine ( (Australian photographers interested in submitting work to my site just contact me and we can discuss details).

The fact the so many models and people are still fearful of viewing artistic nudes, let alone posing leads me to believe there is an unhealthy view of art and the human body in general. I think people still have trouble distinguishing art from porn, and emotional response from titillation. Not everyone is here for self pleasure. Some are actually in the industry to work and create.

There are also people that think artistic nudes can only be black and white (sepia if bold and daring) with a nude sitting by a window or on a rock. Some models think that a "girl site" is somehow not artistic enough. Those people are just as myopic as people who hate nudes. I believe that artistic nudes can also be fun, vibrant, or emotional and pure, or grungy and dirty or just fantasy.....I think it can be any or all of the above and that is what I try to achieve. I like to vary my style to suit any model I work with. However I will not do any "blood" "gore" or "bondage" type shoots. Just not interested as I don't get it.

Although I think the fashion industry is shallow and breaks many young models dreams, I am inspired by the creativity that comes from using fashion as a prop for artistic nudes.

Models that work with me will find I am friendly, don't have ego, will talk to you like a normal intelligent person and treat you with utmost respect. You are always welcome to bring chaparones to my shoots, and they can stay and watch if they is your call.

Credit Notes

I don't care for awards or any of that selfish bullshit (I have won a few and shot with famous people) who really cares? What is most important is the smile on the faces of all the people that like my work. If my work makes people happy or inspires them to do the same, then I have truly achieved something great.

Any model who thinks that they will not get work if they pose nude is incorrect. If anything, the publicity you get when the media finds out is called PR gold!! You cannot buy publicity like it.
Just about every supermodel and acadamy award winning and nominated actress have all either posed nude for shoots or appeared nude in films. Do a google search and see for your self. As long as the work they do is artistic then it can only help a career. If someone says otherwise it is just their own prejudice you are hearing.

Besides, if you want to make it big in fashion, go to Europe. However in Europe, nudity is not only normal in the fashion industry, but expected.
