If I had a PLUS board...
My purpose for this thread is twofold. Firstly, to show off some of the gorgeous plus size models we have on MM, most of whom donât frequent the forums. Secondly, to provide examples and therefore education to those who are confused about what a plus size model looks like. (If you need a definition of what a mainstream agency-appropriate plus size model is, please see www.plusmodels.com or www.newmodels.com. This thread is for pictures to illustrate the definition, not an argument about the definition.) So, without further ado, if I got to put together my own plus board, this is who would be on it. (PLEASE do not add to this list. If you have suggestions, PM them to me. Thanks!) Edited to add from page three, for those who don't understand what a plus model is: A plus size model isn't necessarily a plus size woman. (This is often confusing for new models, and for everyone else for that matter.) A plus size model is a fashion model who is slightly larger than straight size fashion models, and she is used to sell clothing to plus size women. General parameters for a plus size model are height between 5'8" & 5'11", sizes 10 - 18. (Size 14/16 is most in demand on the west coast, and size 10/12 is most in demand on the east coast.) She must be fit, toned, proportional, and have great skin and teeth, just like straight size fashion models. If you would like to Google more famous examples of plus size models than are listed in this MM-only thread, look up Crystal Renn, Mia Tyler, Barbara Brickner, and Kate Dillon.
