May 06 07 05:21 pm Link btw-blondes not for you. try a light, rich honey brown May 06 07 05:22 pm Link Fix it ? it sound like your looking for a Photoshop solution. May 06 07 05:24 pm Link Shave your head! You'd look really hot with no hair! dying it so much fried it and it looks unhealthy. Sides long hair is out! May 06 07 05:27 pm Link I'm not a stylist, and I've certainly never dyed my hair, but one thing I learned from my wife is that if you don't pick your shades right you'll end up with a result totally unexpected. I dye mine all the time with the boxed stuff.... Although, I have been doing it for one to many years and I admit when I first started I had some serious mess ups. You just need to find the brand that works well for your hair depending on the color. Everyones hair is Dif. As for a pro not frying your hair... They do sometimes. I have baby fine hair and I had it fried several times. Yes, she had been doing hair for almost 20 years and was good at it... Only I guess baby fine hair is not her thing. So I do it myself and have had better luck. Then again, in the last 5 years I have preferred darker colors.... Black, shades of red, browns, blue, pink, green....... I have to lighten it for the more exotic colors. Although, if you are doing blond. lol Have a pro do it... Especially if you are a model. May 06 07 05:42 pm Link I believe in hiring the professionals to color hair, seriously. Now you might need one to COLOR CORRECT it, which is what you will need - color correction - not left to the weak hearted. May 06 07 05:45 pm Link I have to agree that blonde maybe isn't your best look. It takes away from your face and makes you look washed out. As for fixing it, try getting a 'clarifying' shampoo, which should help to make the ashiness fade a little. When dying light blonde hair you have to be really carefully, because all of the tones of the dye (be it ashy, golden, coppery, etc.) will be exaggerated. Mostly, you'll need to wait it out. If you try to counter-correct yourself, it will probably get worse. May 06 07 06:18 pm Link What I'd like to know is why doesn't anybody ever wait for the photographer (or the MUA)? Why don't you just leave it alone now? You are interested in doing goth after all someone may like it that way. Just let it be known that are fexible about coloring or restyling it. May 06 07 11:19 pm Link well I have been dying my own hair for years, and I only had two bad experiences, the first one I managed to fix myself by washing my hair wth a purple shampoo and then waiting a few days before adding a light golden blonde. I took away the grayness. the second time I messed up was when I was trying to go blonde from red. I had to bleach it a few times to get rid of the red and then I over did it and it turned grey. when I tried to fix it it went more gray.
