nude beachs in CA, Los Angeles
Any 1 now of any good beaches where I can shot nudes and get from getting a ticket. Also if you do get a ticket how much am I looking on paying? Aug 15 07 11:19 pm Link San Onofre which i believe is south of Laguna Beach has a nudist beach and Black's Beach in San Diego if you want to keep it legal. Google those places. But to keep it legal you would need a permit and insurance too. Otherwise, its a risk. http://www.robertvoltaire.com Aug 15 07 11:23 pm Link i now BLACK BEACH to far from LA looking for some thing closer to LA i now the model her self will not drive that far. but thank you anyways. was thinking to use San Pedro or Malibu beach Aug 15 07 11:47 pm Link There's supposed to be a spot on the backside of Palos Verdes, but you have to know exactly where it is and you have to hike down the bluff to get to it. I've never been to it though, so I couldn't tell ya' much more. Aug 15 07 11:54 pm Link I've shot at Black's many times, never a problem. Just don't point that thing in the wrong direction. Aug 16 07 12:16 am Link Santa Barbara -- past the UCSB beach. Aug 16 07 12:18 am Link Probably the easiest place is El Matador State Beach in Malibu. Be aware that you technically need a permit, but most photogs don't bother, and if you're doing nudes they won't let you anyway. Here's a recent thread about a another shot, for which I posted info about El Matador (look it up on a map, its near the LA/Ventura County line, past Zuma Beach. Don't know what the citation would cost, never got one. The rangers aren't there all the time, and you pay for parking with a pay envelope (brings dollar bills) so you take your chances. Sometimes there are other un-permited crews there so you share, but there's room for everyone. https://www.modelmayhem.com/p.php?thread_id=169967 Andy Pearman Aug 16 07 12:30 am Link Ed Burns Photography wrote: Someone gave me directions to the Palos Verdes spot and I think it's extinct b/c there were people with their children there and everybody was wearing clothes. I once got a warning for shooting male nudes at San Onofre by the park rangers. I also had someone complain to the park rangers b/c I was shooting nudes. Malibu has some nice places, I'd try on the end of this pier: Aug 16 07 01:01 am Link just shot today at escondido beach, a very private beach in malibu. i have shot there for 30 years, one of the best kept secrets in l.a. herb ritts, mathew ralston, and many others as well have shot there. DON'T BOTHER! i'm not kidding, there were sheriff helicopters literally every two minutes! There were two just running from point dume to malibu, criss-crossing, back and forth! although i have not been ticketed, my german photographer friend got ticketed for having five nude girls near point dume and was fined $150.00 per girl. she, the photographer, was really innocent because in germany and many other parts of europe, nudes are legal. and she was still fined after being asked out by the sheriff? saverio Aug 16 07 01:14 am Link Ed Burns Photography wrote: You mean the one down the cliff from the korean friendship bell? i have been meaning to go see the tidal basin, not to get naked and shoot lol Aug 16 07 01:57 am Link If you shoot at Black's, you have to be naked too. Natives don't take kindly to no outsiders wearing pants... Aug 16 07 04:21 am Link I shot once in Malibu, but it was a semi private beach. Maybe find someone who has a home on the beach? Sep 01 08 12:13 am Link just south of gaviota state beach along the freeway going south is a great spot if you get there early enough, i shot nudes for over 3 hours before we saw anybody. no rangers or Sheriff to speak of. Jul 22 09 04:30 pm Link If you know how to get to Pirate's Cove, you can try there. I've been with many nudists there. It isn't legal, just not patrolled. Jul 22 09 06:05 pm Link Currently there are no nude or clothing optional beaches in CA... http://www3.signonsandiego.com/stories/ … ch-071309/ http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c … d=rss.news Only exceptions are a few federal beaches... Jul 22 09 10:51 pm Link There is a legal nude beach 2 mins from my house...... most afternoons you get the entire beach to yourself. I know im on the other side of the world but just thought there may be aussie photographers looking for a legal bch to shoot at or overseas photographers. Plenty of pics in my portfolio. Ky Jul 22 09 10:54 pm Link isn't that a liberal state? and they outlawed nudity? amazing! I used to go down to pirates cove all the time what a great place it was Jul 22 09 10:58 pm Link Fiddlers Green Photo wrote: Don't blame the state, blame the perverts.
