anyone who has ever gotten hair extensions
if anyone has ever gotten "great lengths" hair extensions or "cinderella hair bonds" I'd like to know how you felt about them. Was it worth the money you had to pay? how much did you have to pay? how long did yours last? did they look realistic? how long did it take? were they somewhat easy to care for? how long was your hair already before you had gotten them? did they damage your hair at all? did you notice that when you took them out that your hair had grown faster than before? Also If you have any pictures with them in your hair, I'd love to see. I checked a bunch of websites, but they dont really have anything about people's experience with them and I'm dying to know because I want them myself. Apr 06 06 07:18 am Link Message me and i will give you all your answers I put " great lenghts " extensions in all day and have worked and seen other extensions systems , got feedback from my clients and see them when they get back for new ones. If you have done your research you should know they are the best on the market Apr 07 06 09:04 pm Link london weatherzale wrote: Anyone who hasn't? ;-) Apr 07 06 09:10 pm Link Great lengths extensions are expensive but worth it if you want realistic looking extensions. I have even worked with a celebrity that had it and they loved it. Apr 13 06 12:31 pm Link does anyone know any good hair salons in nyc that do these extensions well and how much they cost? Apr 23 06 09:39 pm Link Her hair is almost chin length. Her real hair is pretty long. like down to a bra strap or longer. The one on the far left and the one next to me both have great lengths. I have extentions also, but they are not great lengths. Both these girls LOVE their extentions and won't go without them. The one has REALLy long hair and still refuses to go with her great lengths. Apr 23 06 09:50 pm Link i just wanted to bump this one back to the top because i had messed up the code before with the pics, but i fixed it. Apr 23 06 10:01 pm Link Hi, I have had extensions... not great lengths. I just went to one of those black peoples hair stores and picked out a package of human hair that matched mine then one of the girls that worked there put them in for me- sewen tracks. They were great, lasted 2 months and cost ALOT less then what the great lengths cost. Over all it cost 20$ for the bag of long human hair and $60 to sew it in (1hour). At first the tracks were kind of weird feeling but i got used to them fast. This was in Toronto Ontario. Lauren Apr 30 06 09:02 am Link oh wow those look really great thanks for showing me those pics May 01 06 06:27 pm Link wait.. u r a guy.. just out of curiousity.. why would u want extentions? how long:S? May 01 06 07:32 pm Link I've gotten a ton of extensions over the last several years. Never paid less than $200 for an entire head. They generally last me 2-3 months before my scalp has had enough. So yeah, I usually only got them 2-3 times per year. Too expensive otherwise unless you're just getting something small like streaks. My hair has been 2" long when I've gotten them, and as long as chinlength. Some micro mini braids I got were a natural color, and looked real, but even the metallic berry red stuff I had looked like real (dyed) hair. I recommend shorter lengths if you're using synthetic hair-- otherwise, it gets snarled too easily (wind, etc) and you will have to go to painstaking lengths to keep it from frizzing up too much over time. My hair has NEVER been damaged by extensions. When I've gotten loose ones, they braid it in a tiny bit at the very top/roots, and then melt the plastic enough that the braid top sticks to itself. When I've gotten tired of them, I twist the tops until this "seal" breaks a bit, then slide it off. Some slide easier than others, depending on how long you've had them (how old the seal is), how far they've grown out, and how long your real hair is. I totally prefer extensions over [non-red] dyed hair. I had purple hair for a while, and pink later, but the dye gets all over EVERYTHING for WEEKS, no matter how you try to take care of your hair. Synthetic extensions don't bleed. I'm going to get a natural looking blend of black, dark brown, and medium brown sometime in the next 2 weeks. When I took them out I lost half of my hair no lie. Its all broken off and I had to go get my hair cut just to make it look normal again. One lady said that when you glue them in they smother your hair and thats the worst thing you can do...but i had no idea it would do that. My hair is now thin as hell and I don't know what to do. I need the lenghth and thickness back that the extensions gave me...but I don't know what kind to use. I just know that I have to be able to do something for shoots and I cannot ever do the glue in kind again.....so PLEASE HELP!! Anyone.....what do you think I should do?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :-) Thanks a bunch! ~Tiff May 01 06 08:05 pm Link Tiffany wrote: well i hear the best one's are great lengths but ur gonna be spending prob about 1,000 dollars May 01 06 10:02 pm Link Abdiel Urcullu Photo wrote: i dont really want them for the length, mostly to make me hair look thicker. I like really thick hair and I just have normal average looking hair. I also wouldnt mind it being about 2 inches or so longer. May 01 06 10:03 pm Link |
