.. is there another kind of foundation that won't break out really sensitive faces?

I break out a little when using it but if anything other than BM hits my face I look like a pizza. Does anyone know of a foundation that won't (or isn't supposed to ) break a model out and isn't such a pain for MUAs?

You need to figure out what you are having a reaction to, then stay away from products with that ingredient in it. There is not a brand out there that NOBODY will have some sort of reaction to. I have heard of people having reactions to bare minerals too, so there isn't going to be one answer for you unless you know what you are allergic to.  Some people are allergic to any kind of talc, meaning pretty much all powders.  Some people have reactions to fragrances (me personally being on of them)  so stay away from any products with added fragrance.  Some people are allergic to certain pigments, so figure out which ones and stay away from products with those pigments.  I am also very sensitive to most of the "all natural" products so go figure. Sorry I can't tell you something more helpful, but you have to do your research first by finding the common link with the products that you are "sensitive" to.  Good luck.

Try Tarte cosmetics.  quite a few of their products are also mineral based, I know they have a mineral powder that is pressed, so it's not as sloppy as bare minerals.  Or maybe try Lorac.  I know a girl who is allergic to pretty much every cosmetic line except for Bare Minerals and Lorac, so who knows, that one may work for you as well.  If you have a Sephora in your area you can get samples made so you can do a patch-test and make sure you have no adverse reaction before you buy anything.  But like Sevans mentioned, no product is completely allergy-free.  You've got to try and figure out what exact ingredients you are sensitive to.

I order from Colorlab Cosmetics for absolutely pure makeup for anyone. But if yu can'tget it, then try CoverFX. A very cool line I started using made for severe burn victims. It's awesome.

I work for Aveda and there are several stylists in my salon that have very sensitive skin and can use the products.  Also I have had clients that have sought out Aveda because everything else breaks them out.

I agree with sevans about figuring out what particular ingredients are making you break out. Another thing to try is using a foundation primer before you use a foundation (ideally an oil controling one such as Beccas, as im assuming if you are breaking out this much you have an oily skin type) The primer should help to act as a barrier between your skin and the makeup. Also make sure you are properly cleansing your brushes or makeup sponges so they arnt harboring bacteria which will make your skin worse.

I recently worked with a model who was allergic to glycerin, which is found in most over the counter foundations.  I always use Ben Nye, after we read the ingredients we found that in contained bees wax instead of glycerin, which she was fine with, no reactions!!!!

If your allergy testing goes anything like mine did, it's all on your back, you never see needles, and you everso barely feel them.  It's not a big deal at all.
