Hello,

Thanks for taking a moment to review my portfolio and read a little about me.
Arriving onto the modeling scene is not something I intended on pursuing. Although I’ve spent the better part of my life staying in top physical condition and eating healthy, it wasn’t until I reached 50 years old that I was approached to work in the industry.

My name is Philip J. Hoffman. I currently reside both in Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, CA, and frequently travel to Brasil. I’ve been fortunate enough to recently make a career from my years of studying in the biological sciences and experience as a fitness and nutrition expert.

The recent launch of my business, Hoffmanfit.com, is an all-consuming effort in which I intend to grow into a thriving information-based business via my blog, videos and eBook publications that are scheduled for release next year. The goal of my business is to provide fitness and nutrition solutions for peoples problems related to losing body fat, getting fit and feeling healthy and energetic.

My other passion is to pursue commercial print modeling in the fitness and lifestyle niche. I’m in search of worthy opportunities with companies looking for a distinguished-looking, versatile, very fit and classy male.

I stay in peak condition year-round, always prepared for shoots. I prefer to remain with a natural look with gray hair, choosing not to color my hair. My body is free of tattoos and piercings, and I don’t use steroids or performance-enhancing supplements. The images in my portfolio look exactly like I do in person and aren’t some photo-chopped version of someone you wouldn’t recognize upon meeting me.

Some additional information about me: I have over 10 years of formal education, earning a Bachelor Degree in biology, a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and an MBA degree in Finance from Cal Poly Pomona.
Additionally, I’m a certified personal trainer and certified sports nutritionist with the International Society of Sports Nutritionists. I’m also fluent in the language of Portuguese, frequently travel to Brasil, and love the people and culture.


My other interests are reading, cooking, nutritional science, philosophy, fashion & design and modern architecture. I'm currently not interested in TFP except in rare occasions that will significantly add to my portfolio. Please don’t inquire about anything related to nude photography.
