Here is my list of concepts that should be permanently retired:

1. Caution Tape......please stop! This should be used only to parody the over use of this cheap prop.
2. Hands over the boobs implied. How many times are we going to see this? Move on... there's 10,000,000 items out there that can be used for implied images... try a few!
3. Belts as only wardrobe... I was on the bandwagon for this, but it's timely death is imminent.
4. Rose petals in artist nudes and implies.... enough!

Let's see your list for the concept retirement home!

Come on! These are bedrock ideas founded in years of creative development. I suppose you're going to also rule out a great shot on a toilet or even.... on a toilet with angel wings with two bandaids delicately place over each nipple while smelling one single beautiful rose with loose pedals floating ever so gently  .... all over the place and fishnet stockings? Fine!

Good point Kevin, but he gets bonus points for using "cliché" in the same sentence 3 times.

I motion that we no longer beat dead horses. Instead, we should simply ask "What's that rudder for?" "It's driving me nuts".

in lieu of that, I also raise a motion to only beat disease carrying vermin, such as prairie dogs(black plague anyone?).

Save a horse, beat a model.

-how about angel wings.

-saying "everything has been done already" for blatantly ripping people off because you lack creativity in your own right

-calling anything fashion when you have not so much as seen one runway show live and can't name 5 current couture designers without aide of computer

-calling all naked pictures art nude or erotic. listen it is only erotic to you because you got a hard-on while shooting it!

-shibari. if you are going to do it, don't do the basic knots and shoot it the exact same way as on the book you bought about the subject

-body painting/liquid latex

LOL... I'm doing a series on fashion, artistic, and glamour clichés (just for fun when I'm working with models who have the same dry sense of humor that I do). Here's a shot from yesterday with Emi Chrome (MM#241102):

So keep coming up with those ideas, I'm taking notes! (Nemi, your shot in that contest was part of the inspiration for the series...)

Yes.  Please show me something that has never been shot before.

Nudes are probably cliche, but I never seem to get tired of them.
