I can thoroughly recommend Hensel lighting.  It's German, excellent build quality, consistent output and when things do go wrong (once in 5 years!) the back up service is brilliant.  Replacement loan kit supplied while yours is repaired and always good communication.  Just what you need when investing good money into kit you're going to rely on.

Just my opinion and experience though.  I'd suggest going to a pro dealer and testing for yourself to see what's good for you.  Like your camera, you're going to need the controls to be second nature to you.

Good Luck,

Neil.

i've never been to copenhagen, but i would recommend you check your local rental houses to see what brands are supported.  if you buy into a system that nobody rents locally, you are limiting yourself to only using the gear/accessories you can afford.

I know a lot of photographers in my area that have Alien bees and love them.  They are inexpensive, small, and provide good customer service.  I lucked out and a lady I work with use to do wedding photograhy and gave it up.  She had a novatron 3 light kit she had only used a few times and put it in her closet years ago.  She told me she would take $100 for it, so I jumped on it.  I figured the case, umbrellas, and light stands were worth that.  I've used them for a year and love them.  There are some downsides but nothing I can't work around.  If I had not run into that deal, I would have gone with Alien Bees.

Check out Elinchrom as well.  Swiss made, very reliable and consistent.  Similar price range to Hensel.

Alien Bees (www.alienbees.com) without a doubt. Great price, consistent color temperature, virtually indestructible, and a no-questions warranty... and they come in several colors! smile

You can't beat that with a stick!!!

I love my 3 head DynaLite kit.
Not crazy expensive, but not made out of plastic.
Add a softbox and start shooting...

I like Lexan... won't break, crack, chip or peel (it's made of colored lexan, not painted) and it doesn't get very hot while in use smile
