RC Images wrote: I'm in! #2 Here are my favorites I like all the Goth, retro, dark look. I wish I could find someone around here to try a shoot like that. Your models are great and seem like that are at ease with you taking their photos. The only thing is I see the same theme in the majority of the photos. #1 and #19 are your weakest and I would try to get a few great studio shots in your portfolio to show that you are an all around cat.

It may be that you haven't worked with enough photographers quite yet but it seems that you are missing some standard really good shots. Nothing that meeting up with talented photographers won't cure. Be careful, some of them just want to see you get undressed and won't worry about giving you something great for your portfolio. But you have a good look and can make some great images.

ToriMarie wrote: go for it! #5 Here are my favorites First off you are beautiful. Second, you should have more pictures showing that. That first one of my favorites seems like it is in raw form, waiting to be chiseled out by someone who can work wonders with photoshop. Again, get some good help. You can't do the pictures by yourself, you need a talented photographer who can command the light in the studio as well as a MUA who can bring out all of your beauty. Portfolio as it is 6.5/10. Portfolio potential... 9.9/10 (and that is because I don't think there is such a thing as physical perfection, but you can get close)

I wasnt happy with the prints at all and actually didnt add them to my port. But ive been learning more about makeup and how to apply it and am always looking for mua's to help me out but i really appreciate your critique!

Great color, great white balance, great model and pose. It was one of those that you probably saw in the camera and said in your head, "That's going to be great." And it was. Now to do that to all your images. Watch your color and pay attention to the light meter. That is something that I've been working on more and more and then incorporate that into your outdoor shots and your portfolio will do nothing but get better.

Great lighting. Great themes. The only thing I can think of to suggest would be to ad some more shots of subjects with their clothes on.

Lindsey Nichole wrote: Me...I'm really bored as well and have new pictures =] #8 Some of my favorites. With your blue hair it seems like you were trying to go for this retro/crazy look but some of them were your standard type poses locations that you would normally see. Didn't seem to match too well. The photos above I liked because A.) You were going for something different, like the blue hair matching the blue wall and B.) Its a good photo in an unusual setting. Like you in your panties in the yard. Something not normally seen, (around here anyways). It is another case of getting a photographer that knows their stuff. Do your research and you can find several that know what they're doing as well as possibly shooting for free. Try a MUA as well because with blue hair, there could be some sweet makeup combos going on. I would like to see your portfolio again in a few months if you do that. You've got the looks.

Try your hand at color. The best thing to do to start out is reading that manual with the camera and flash. I take mine everywhere I go because it is the cheapest reference material I have. Try some studio style shots. Visit www.strobist.com for a great reference on how to lighting techniques.

Common misconception, but I actually don't have the blue in my hair anymore...I got rid of that a long time ago. I'm a fickle fickle girl when it comes to hair, haha. My current look is shown in my first two pictures...those were literally taken yesterday. Thank you btw =]

GREY SCOTT PHOTOGRAPHY wrote: Definitely check mine out... #10 My favorites. You can tell you are no spring chicken when it comes to photography. You have a camera and know how to use it. In your outdoor work your subject is well lit and well posed. A greater balance with the background would make for some interesting photos as well. I would like to see more indoor studio work with a few different models. The ones you have posted are well done.

Amanda RaeB wrote: Me? #11 My favorite. This photo (and the other two by this photographer) is your best, hands down. It makes the others seem like they were taken with a point and shoot. I think there was a lot of potential in several of your photos that the photographers missed. Wether it was poor lighting or composition. Try again with a more experienced photographer with a studio and see where it takes you. You'll probably like it!

You can tell you need to practice the studio work but you mention that on your profile front page. Studio work takes time, patience, and a lot of practice. I'm still not as good as I want to be, but not as bad as I once was. Try out some new models. New locations. New photoshop techniques. Any forums that will give ideas on how to shoot and edit are always a good one to be a part of. But you can't just join, you have to participate as well.
