Photographers: Have u ever become aroused during a shoot?

Models: Has a photographer ever become aroused during you shoot?

A model friend (kym jane #330490) told me it happened to her on numerous shoots. I have done some pretty hardcore and explicit shoots(check the port) and i have never become aroused. Maybe I'm to busy trying to get the shot.

Did it make u feel weird when it happened?

No. Too busy concentrating, too many things to think about.

I probably would, but I masturbate before a shoot.

That's the professional thing to do. tongue

I've been a nudist far too long to care about naked bodies of any sort, attractive or not.
No.

No.  I'm there to shoot, not drool over the subject of the photo.

I haven't been aroused, but I have definately enjoyed the view from time to time.  I always act professionally, but inside I'm sometimes like a kid in a candy store.  I would never do anything to distract the model from the shoot.

No.  I spend most shoots fretting over how they will come out.

Yup.

I ended up having wild sex with the model right there on the set when we were done.

And honestly, to add to my post above, I find threads like this just as seedy as the subject under discussion.  It smacks of voyeurism to me.

"Tell me your dirty stories, little girl..."

(Not saying that's the OP's purpose.  Just how these invariably strike me.)

I think the term "GWC" is so completely overused and applied without discrimination of any kind, that it's about as useful a term as "edgy."

No.

Sometimes before.
Sometimes after.

During the shoot I'm usually too busy working or thinking about the next shot.

Personally , I dont care , getting aroused is not a crime and is a natural human reaction... so long as nothing comes of it , or barbaric behavior does not ensue....

Agreed. I'd have to go with "prurient interest" for the win as to the reason for these threads.

Hmm, I've never had the 'flag pole rise' or anything.......but I've certainly shot with models whom I thought were quite attractive.

I just thought we were adults here, and could have a conversation without taking it to the gutter.

And the fact that my friend said it has happened to her. i wanted find out if it was true.

LOL!  This group (or any group on the web, I suppose) can't, in general, be accused of being adult about things.

People get aroused by other people in all sorts of situations, so I doubt photography is any different.  I'm sure it happens.  No big deal, as long as whomever the aroused person is doesn't do anything revolting about it.

it's not a big deal, it happens with models (of both genders) too.  I remember a thread where several ladies admitted to leaving..... spots... on things..

Most men will lie. But it happens
Only happens to me with ONE person, who tries very hard NOT to be sexy.

On the other hand I had a Vegas hottie ( the hair , the boobs, the lips) got pissed with me. I got bored shooting and she got really mad that I did not appreciate that I had a woman of her flamboyant beauty around, and that I got bored looking at her nekkid.

She has never called me again EVER.

*maybe she was pissed I did not appreciate the $30,000 worth of improvements.

Not this shit again.

It happens every single time.  The models get wildly aroused and I start knocking things over with my petrified wood.  They stare at it and drool and when I don't think they can take it anymore, I give 'em the business.  Right against the wall, baby.  Fucked more models than bulimia or heroin combined!

And shortly after that, I wake up...

About four years ago, an amatuer photographer took pictures of me naked. Being normally uptight, I had a couple of drinks then I did sexually explicit poses that I would normally not do.

By the end of shooting, I noticed that the photographer had a lot of precum on his jeans. I had to comment on that and he looked really pissed off (not at me but that he couldn't get it down) telling me that he was trying so hard to be a professional. In fact, I think it bothered him a lot more than it bothered me.

So, I would say, I am sure there are a lot of GWC's who get aroused by models.

I've seen this thread before and I just don't get the people who take themselves SO seriously that they can't admit to being turned on.
I get turned on walking up to a woman on the street to ask her to model for me.  I get turned on meeting a model for the first time. I get turned on when she comes out of wardrobe for the first look. I get turned on while we're shooting. I get turned on watching her do her make-up. I get turned on while reviewing the pics after the shoot.  I get turned on editing the pics.
And I've actually discussed it with one or two models (with whom I had GOOD relationships).  The models often get turned on too.  It doesn't mean we're gonna stop the shoot to fuck.
After one particularly hot shoot (NOT involving any nudity), the model and I joked afterwards how she'd better get home to her boyfriend immediately to take care of business.
If your model and your creation of art isn't "turing you on", . . . STOP photographing!
If you've got a raging erection and are showing it off and shoving it at your model. . . .STOP photographing.
There is a balance.
What we do is emotional and fun and sexy and erotic and beautiful.  It should trigger emotional responses.
That doesn't make you a pervert and I don't see why anyone should be embarassed to admit it.
Act like a professional, get your stuff done and produce some great art and no one will care what was in your head during the shoot!
