I would like to get some recommendations on wedding album vendors photographers are using.  Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Not for wedding albums.  I offer them and 95% of my clients option for a LayFlat album.

Asuka Books are very nice but they are printed on the 80lbs stock like a regular coffee table book.  Layflat and Flush mount albums are printed on actual photographic papers.  While the Asuka Coffee Table Books are very nice, having a book where the actual pages are photographic prints is favorable.  In fact LaChappelle used the layflat style for his collector book which sells for over $3500.00

For these types of books, go to:

Pictage (www.pictage.com)
Miller's Lab (www.millerlab.com) my personal printer/book maker
zookBooks (www.zookbook.com)

I think you mean www.zookbinders.com, of which I also like.  I agree with you though, but it does depend on what the client is looking for.  Having a range of products to offer is the wise thing to do.

Along with some that have already been mentioned.

I loke Art Leather buy don't use them much due to pricing.  Their printing and binding is no different than Millers or Pictage.  Their leather (hence their name) are second to none and come in so many options it can make you dizzy.  A majority of my clients don't seem to want to pay that much more for a fine Italian leather cover. smile

Not very impressive at all.  Looks like it is a spin off from Pictage, hence the disclaimer that you MUST be a pictage client to order any items from them as well as that all the printing is actually done by pictage.

They mention that they travelled the world finding new materials to make products with but when you view the products there is no material details.

Wedding books are their specialty. Pricey, but quality well worth it.
