I've seen a lot of photos of models in big fur trooper hats lately.  Do you think these shots have become cliche or are they still looking good.

I second that emotion wink

I recently worked with another model that refused to work with a fur coat. 'Oh those poor animals...' She put her leather pants on and left the shoot. Where do these morons come from?

I ordered a Diet Coke instead of a regular Coke. But then I added a fattening burger and fries.

You do what you can. Or what you want to do.

My policy is to save the cute animals and eat the ugly ones. It's better than nothing.

Definitely diet Pepsi – save those sweet little sugar bears! (isn’t that where sugar comes from – duh) wink

Do you have any idea of how much aspartame had to die for your stupid Diet Pepsi?

Cliché doesn't automatically mean bad, and 'overdone' is very context-specific.

That said, there have been people calling that kind of photo cliche, starting at least 2 years ago.

no more bland parka hoods, please (55 posts, locked)
no more parka hoods, please (146 posts, locked)
Fur lined parka hoods...

Take the photo, make it good, and nobody will care that it might be cliche or overdone.

The hat I used in my shoot Saturday made the outfit, which made the setting, which made the picture.
In the right circumstance, the fur hat is all.

Personally, I wouldn't wear the fur that was ripped off a feeling animal that was horribly tortured to death first just for a tacky "fashion" accessory, but thats just me.
