Sep 26 08 08:16 pm Link I think the reason models are giving you the run around is that you have no verbiage on your profile, your communications skills need work and last, but not least, you have only 3 pictures, 2 of them are out of focus and all of them are boring. Want to get better models? Advertise in Craigslist, take more pictures, focus before you hit the shutter button and stop being a tool. The only 3 images you have listed in you portfolio are merely snapshots, and not good ones at that. They lack focus or any sense of creativity. Do you really expect a model to spend several hours with you only to receive that quality of work? What you've written (or rather what you have not written) in your profile shows a lack of interest or seriousness towards photography. Lastly, your lack of professional demeanor in the forums has blown your chance of any model giving you a chance out of pity. Sep 26 08 08:52 pm Link There are only 3 images--and I think others have made it painfully clear that 4 is the requirement--none of which are particularly interesting. The lighting in the first shot is bad, and the model's expression in the third is worse. The problem with your 'about me' section can be summed up in one word: Grammar. Perhaps the 3 sub-par photos in your port are flukes--How the hell do I know? Maybe you really are talented--But with those not working as model bait, all you have to try to reel them in with is the 'about me' section.....and after seeing that, it's a tough call what's a bigger turn-off to a model. If you expressed more about yourself as a photographer (i.e. What your background is, what your ambitions are, your photography likes/dislikes....the list goes on), perhaps a model might be able to overcome their utter disinterest in your portfolio by knowing how your mind works, take a long shot, and work with you.
