I will, if they're nice, like Yaya's wings....

No, they're not photoshop... she makes some very, very nice wings. Black ones, too.

O, not my shot, by the way. J. Corsentino.

I have shot them.  There are a few photographers on here who have done incredible things with them.  Done right, they're gorgeous images.

How about these:

Granted, they weren't there when I took the shot, but...

I'd love to do that kind of shot, just something on the list.

I blame Victoria's Secret.

I should note that there is no such thing as a bad concept. I've seen angel wings done incredibly well.

Well, it was cool when it first came out, but when masses is doing it.  It becomes a turn off.  Unfortunately, some models and photographers still think it is cool.  Hey, it is a free country.  Freedom of choice.

For some reason, I think it would appeal to you even without the wings!

They are very popular, well at least with models and copyright violators.  The general public and parents love them.

Just do a www.tineye.com search on my current avatar to see how popular they are.

see my reply in this thread:
https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thre … 159&page=2

Personally I rather not do any more of them, I'm tired of doing them,  but try telling that to a paying customer.

My favourite "winged" image, (not mine, by Jeffery Scott 1019 MM#1980):

I would like them better if the model was also carrying a guitar and had her boobs covered by caution tape, while standing on RR tracks...  smile

I would rather see a cheesy angel wing cliche' image then the same old boring girl sitting pretty for no reason that litters this site.

I say more Angel wing pictures!

Because some of us know what we are doing....

i guess I could lower my standards and buy a cheap background from Denny's and stick a nude female in front of it.

I think like any concept, it's all a matter of how it's done.  Sure I've seen hundreds of bad pictures with wings done.  But then again, look at James Porto's series of Winged Women and they are amazing............

... and in front of a brick wall covered in graffiti....

Actually, there are a lot of examples of beautiful angel wing images.  It just seems to get overdone the most in the goth kind of look, in my opinion.

That image is so AMAZING, I want to just stare at it.  Surprising because I didn't think I liked angel wings either.

Even doing a TFP/CD shoot, it is a trade, and if a model makes a request, she gets her shot too. Thus I have a few in my current portfolio.
