Monster Grand Softbox -roarrr-
What happens when you mix profoto's giant umbrella with elinchrom's giant octa?.............. *mistery cheesy piano music* http://www.rimelite.com/en/products/438 The monster grand softbox!!!!!!!!! -they call it only grand softbox but it is a monster - It looks like a fantastic modifier ... would love to know how much you pay for this puppy... there are speedrings available for: Bowens, Balcar, Broncolor, Comet, Courtney, Dynalite, Electra, Elinchrom, Hensel, Interfit, JTL, Multiblitz, Novatron, Profoto, Prophet, Photogenic, Photona, Speedtron, Sunstar, Tokina, Norman. Oct 02 08 11:40 pm Link just looks like a cheap para with a baffle Oct 02 08 11:44 pm Link Jhett Thompson wrote: looks like, but doesn't look adjustable. Oct 02 08 11:51 pm Link It just looks completely unnecessary. Oct 02 08 11:53 pm Link I just love how everyone has an opinion. And we all know what those are worth. Oct 02 08 11:58 pm Link VisualRamblings wrote: if it's a Broncolor Para, yea. This would be cheaper and give the same effect! Oct 03 08 01:35 am Link Ooh! I love some good Konglish! The high quality of Grand softbox can be decided on how softbox can be provided with soft & stable exposure of light through thickness of fabric. The Silver fabric of Rimelite Grand Softboxes make light be softer. Also These are same exposure of light in their anywhere. Grand Softbox supply more soft light through less exposure of light(-2~3/10). Comfortable Using for Professional Photographer The big size of Grand softboxes is able to make a good chance of which you can take various pictures. Even though big size, Rimelite Grand softboxes use very thin fabric and it is comfortable to carry them. Oct 03 08 01:39 am Link I've tried paras like this before. I notice hardly any difference when standing behind a regular 5' octa without the diffuser. Maybe it's just me though. Oct 03 08 02:20 am Link There's one on Ebay like this one going for $800, from Korea. Oct 03 08 03:02 am Link Well, it IS totally unnecessary.....but an *un*necessity I'd love to get my hands on. What a superb main this would make with 5 or 6 fills and rims. Oct 03 08 11:02 am Link Stephen Melvin wrote: Can any one understand this? Oct 03 08 11:14 am Link NYC Studios wrote: Absolutely. Oct 03 08 12:18 pm Link Thanx for sharing this......their website has more info... assembles like a Photoflex Octadome, rods & speedring... but is very deep like the Para ..... yet still a front firing unit, unlike the Profoto... or so it appears..... Very interesting design for the cost..... looks like a fairly inexpensive construction Oct 03 08 10:42 pm Link I bet that baby causes some mean catchlight! It would not fit in my studio or garage even!! George Oct 03 08 10:52 pm Link I like the fact that you can use it in humanitarian zones. Oct 03 08 10:59 pm Link Oct 03 08 11:21 pm Link Wow! I'm ordering one as soon as I can find a speedring for my Alien Bees AB400. This baby will be perfect for shooting head shots in my apartment. Oct 04 08 01:00 am Link The newest thing is not going big - it's using 100s of LEDs against 3" umbrellas. Get with it!
