There is a thread going on in model matters regarding travelling models.

Models have stayed with me.....But wanted to know if models ever let photographers couch surf?

I would, if I had my own place. I doubt my parents would let me... but once I get my apartment, sure, you guys can crash at my place. Just clean up and spilled beer....

By the way, boolean- is your name a reference to the programming term by any chance? wink Or simply the math logic?

Alright!! I've only done some basic Java programming so far, but I'm a Computer Science major... so that will be changing VERY soon.

Go programmers! smile

I would- but the if is that they are relativity close in age... I would want to make someone older crash on a futon while my roommates listen to metal and smoke a hookah around them. Heh.

I have let photographers stay with me.  I'm very selective and it depends on when he/she is traveling.

I have my older children who are here every other week so their week is never good.

I'm just extremely selective but I'd do it.

One day when I have my own place, I'd love to entertain photographers and models alike. I know what its like being the constant traveling artist in need  of a place to stay. One day... when I am not longer modeling full time, it will happen.
sad

Hopefully I will still be able to stand up hold a camera, drive a car, and see straight by then. big_smile

I am an agist. Down with old people. Let's hide their medications.

Don´t mess with older guys. I will be still standing on my feet while your feeble baby friends are all asleep and/or throwing up. big_smile

I can't speak for models, but my guest room and couch is open to all travelers.  I think I even had a relative here once.

I would be willing to let a photographer crash on my couch. I would be afraid that they would judge that I live in a teeny apartment w/o a spare bedroom... just a couch. But, yeah sure. I would let them.

It would be VERY hypocritical of me to judge you based on that.  I also live in a very small apartment with no spare bedroom and just a bed and a couch for furniture.

Right on!  Most metalheads I know are older than me.  Most younger people I know don't smoke anything.  So you never know!  wink

I have a gues room, and on occasion have had models stay over night before.  If any photographer or model is traveling through the Salinas/Monterey area, send me a message and I'll let you know if we have the room available.

I allow couch surfing. But the person, if it's a male photographer, can't be allergic to cats. My cat likes men and will stare at them.

BTW I stayed with Alison for the first DEAC weekend...she's a doll, I love her and owe her one! I posted in the other thread, and I'm always willing to let someone cool crash here if they need a place for the night.

Sure I would let photographers (models, whoever) crash in the spare bedroom... I'm even working on turning one of the other rooms into a shooting area smile I'm in Manchester, NH... about 45 minutes north of Boston. 1/2 hour from the coast.

I would think it a tad disconcerting to wake up and see a cat sitting on my chest with a 'why are you sleeping in my bed' look.

I am more than willing.  I live in Buffalo, NY which is about 2 hour from Toronto and 1.5 hours from Rochester.  I have a guestroom, lots of couches, 4 chinchillas and 2 cats.  Smoke outside if it applies.

This is great! We need a map, showing where we can crash for the night.

BTW, I typically sleep in the nude. No clothes before 10 a.m.

I would travel and shoot more if i could couch surf at the models place. That is money I could save to pay her.
