Wipe the name Wilhelmina from your mind. They have nothing to do with the agency in NY. It's just a name they licensed. Now evaluate them based on how they make money. Is it from clients or models? Google is your friend.

They are an affiliate listed on Wilhelmina's site.... Just curious to get experiences from others on this site.

Wilhelmina has a licensing program where they allow other agencies, in smaller markets, to use their name.  Their is an affiliation, but it is not the same company.  Being a licensee doesn't mean that they will get you work or even that they are a decent agency.  Wilhelmina allows schools to affiliate and there have been other issues with some of their licensees as well.

What Pat is saying is, yes they are a licensee, that doesn't guarantee that they are good.  Check them out and then make your decision.

What Willy is doing is sleazy to the max. And I hope that if some of these affiliates cross the line and get sued or charged, Willy gets dragged in. OTOH to be fair, we should remember that what Willy is doing is not any worse than what John Casablancas did. Casablancas built up a big chain of "modeling schools" using the theme that they were affiliated with the Elite agency, and using the false implied promise that the schools were a feeder to the agency.
