DigitalArtOfTheDay 2/13 People can fly = New Rules
ATTENTION : Please read all the new rules below including new rule 13 . Digital Art Of The Day Art that is excepted is as follows : 1. Photomanipulation (ie. Changed as if adding object , extracting , new background , elements etc) 2. Painting Digitally(oil or anything else ) 3 . A photo that has the same elements but is then rendered into a different photo , for example adding a third person , a castle and changing colors and hand painting it . 4. Drawing in photoshop,painter etc... What are not concidered digital art : 1. Photos right out of camera . 2. Photos only changed in color, saturation or corrections . 3. Retouches (skin changes , smoothing and blurring , removel of blemishes and changing the overall color of background , clothes etc .... ) Please follow these . If either I or Chris finds that a picture seems to be only "retouched" or seems right out of camera we will disqualify it from the contest . So in the future please take this very important rule into concideration . Thanks very much and continue creating . Mature 18 + images are allowed but must contain a link and not the actual image posted. 9. Photo Artwork must be digital art .No photos right out of camera . This includes photo-manipulation, paintings, or digitally enhanced work to a more extreme measure. No photos that have been merely touched up (by touched up I mean to say , those that have been changed only in skin , like pimples removed , background or foreground color changes or corrections , change of color of clothes etc...) , are considered a digital artwork in this thread. 10. Unlike some contests you may post a story to go along with your work . 11. If you enter, you are expected to vote. It's common courtesy! 12. No re-entering a picture that has already won . NEW RULE : 13. You must post with your entery what medium and how you processed the artwork(example : Photo , new background , Painted etc or Oil painted , photoshop etc...)If you do not post how you processed it and the medium , you will be disqualified . This is starting on 2/12/10 The winner will be posted at the earliest convenience at the close of each contest. Also, it was decided that whomever wins the contest will get a free fairy picture full size through email for you to print of any Tytaniafairy's Faeries/ Elves . NEW MESSAGE FOR WINNERS : At the end of each month, a thread with past winners of the month will be posted and we will all take up voting. Feb 13 10 06:58 am Link Hath wings - can fly too! LOL  Okay - this photo was shot at the Salt Flats. The file was brought into photoshop and the girl was extracted from the original. Everything was changed to make it feel more science fiction. Then a matte graphic was created using a program outside of photoshop, and brought in as a background. The effects of the water wings were generated and laid in. If this does not qualify as a digitally manipulated photo - then please feel free to disqualify. Feb 13 10 08:09 am Link People can fly ...not very well cupid and glass not a good combination  3 different baby's were used for the expressions,then put behind a glass window dropped a bow and a few candies and smudged them and the cupids face to look like hes hitting the window ,little dog in the corner was just to cute not to add .
