With what would you paint a model in order to get interesting textures, possibly cracking, or uneven, overly light coverage here and there?

Preferably in stark white.

I'm thinking of something along these lines

Thick product application - like Mehron liquid or such - with a hair dryer assist to dry.

The thicker the application, the larger the texture. BUT, the longer the product will take to dry. Big cracks take paaaaatience.

Try mixing body paint with clay face mask.

Or, mixed with flour.

Experiment.

NOTE: Body hair will really make a matted mess that interferes with the cracking.

For the movie Monster, Charlize Theron was transformed using several layers of foundation, each a slightly different tone, then distressed.

Ben Nye has a mud powder and it comes in a couple of different shades,  you can mix it with water and has a similar effect when dry.
