Cliche Photo Thread(s)?
There have been a ton of threads started about cliche photos - you know - angle wings, train tracks, the peek out of the sunglasses, the covering of the breasts, the American Beauty rose petals... My morbid curiosity has me wondering just how many of those are here on MM. I was wondering if anyone else would like to see a gallery via this or a new thread to show off each person's pics that fit the specified cliche. The idea would be to keep each 'cliche' in one thread and see what each person has done with that idea. My thought is two-fold: 1. Might give photographers and models an idea of what to do, or NOT to do, next time they think about putting more photos out there with that "cliche". 2. Show that even though a shot might be called "cliche" doesn't mean it can't still be good. I can only contribute to one or two of the above mentioned cliches myself, but anyone interested? * This thread inspired by seeing the Girls with Guitars thread.  Oct 16 06 10:27 pm Link Some things around here never change. This is one of them. People will continue to make cliches, and people will continue to bitch about them. And some people will be undaunted, and continue to do what they do well, or realize they can do well, without cliches, or bringing new life to them, and then they really won't be cliches. It might actually be educational. But I guess people don't come here to learn--just complain. One thread for the rose petals, one for police tape, etc. Too many shots would fill 1 thread and there would not be a compiled showing of each shot. That was my intent, anyway.
