ANNOUNCING:  The Orlando / Central Florida Meet-n-Greet!
(a Networking and FUN event for Models, Photographers, MUAs, and other Industry Professionals)



This event is a FREE event to all Models, Photographers, MUAs, and other creative types (and their friends) who are 21 years of age or older.  It is intended to be a FUN, networking event to meet new friends in the industry and network with those you may already know.

Please Note:  This is NOT a shooting event!  The main focus is to network and get to know each other.  Please bring your business cards, comp cards, portfolios (printed or electronic), and friends for a fun evening of interaction and collaboration.  This is an informal gathering of Models, Photographers, and other industry members (and their guests) for the purpose of networking and introductions.  It is NOT meant to replace any other locat gatherings (such as the wildly popular OMG / Orlando Meet-n-Greet which is held semi-annually); rather, it's just a way to stay connected with friends and make new contacts in the industry.

Our host for this event will be the Groove at Universal Studios CityWalk.  There will be NO COVER CHARGE for Meet-n-Greet Participants between 9:00 PM & 11:00 PM - just inform the door hosts that you're part of our group, and you'll be admitted FREE! 

The Groove is offering our group several DRINK SPECIALS between 9 & 11 PM including Pinnacle Vodka flavors, Don Q Rum flavors, and Russian Standard Vodka drinks at $4.00 each, Bud & Bud Light Bottles at $3.00 each, and Long Island Ice Teas at $4.00 each.  Of course, bottled water and soft drinks are also available for those who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage!

RSVP's are not required, but definitely appreciated!  Please send your RSVP including your name(s), number attending, and role(s) (model, photographer, etc) to:  [email protected].  We will update the "Attending Models / Photographers / MUAs" list with this information, so your RSVP message is very much appreciated!

(Due to the service of alcoholic beverages, we must respectfully request that ALL participants be 21 years of age or older for this event).

FREQUENTLY (and even infrequently!) ASKED QUESTIONS:

1) Q:  Do you need to be a member of ModelMayhem to attend this event?
    A:  No.  All models, photographers, MUAs, Producers, etc. are invited to join us!

2) Q:  May I bring my husband / wife / significant other / friend who is a model, etc?
    A:  Yes!  This is a social event, so please feel free to bring them!

3) Q:  Are RSVP's Required?
    A:  NO... However, they are appreciated so that we can be prepared with name tags & such, and also to help the venue management with their planning, etc.

4) Q:  Where do I RSVP?
    A:  Please send an EMail to [email protected] with the name(s) of those attending.

5) Q:  Do I need to bring anything with me in order to get free admission and/or the drink specials?
    A:  NO.  Please tell the door host that you're attending the Meet & Greet, and they will admit you (free!).  When ordering at the bar, again, tell your bartender or server that you're with the Meet & Greet group, and they will give you the special prices.

6) Q:  What if I forget to tell the door host or bartender that I'm with the Meet-n-Greet group?
    A:  They will charge you the usual (public) prices... so PLEASE do NOT forget to tell them you're with the Meet-n-Greet group!

7) Q: What if we want to stay after the Meet-n-Greet?
    A: As long as you arrive before 11:00 PM and receive a wristband, you can stay until closing.  The wristband is only valid at The Groove, but you can always buy a Party Pass to go to the other clubs (possibly at a discount).

The Meeting & Greeting Starts at 9:00 PM Tonight!  Please join us between 9:00 & 11:00 PM at The Groove (in Universal CityWalk).  You do NOT have to be on the RSVP to attend.

Please do not forget to tell the door hosts at the Groove that you're part of the meet & greet group so that you do not have to pay the entrance cover charge!
