2010 - on seeing her thread I PM'd Nemi and offered a modest sum of money. I am not including the amount because I don't want it to discourage you from offering a higher amount, or a lower amount.

Nemi supplied me the address of a gift recipient's parent. It wasn't someone I knew well, but it wasn't a stranger, either. It was a name I recognized from around MM.

Nemi also and added this information: [Child's name] is 5 and he loves superheroes, especially Batman. And the movie Cars.

I went to Amazon and picked out some things I thought the child would like, and I had them sent, unwrapped, to the parent.

I left the order info in my PM to Nemi, including the Amazon order numbers, not that they were asked of me, but I posted them in the PM just the same.

Child was pleased with the extra surprise gifts.

2012 - I saw this year's thread and made the same offer. I used the "message history" feature of MM to add to the original 2010 thread.
